Position Summary:



We are seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to design, build, maintain, and secure scalable AWS Cloud infrastructure for our cloud security product. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Quality Control, and Operations teams to ensure a fully redundant, highly available system that meets the demands of a dynamic development and test lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and deploy secure, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems on AWS for product development and testing.
  • Optimize existing AWS configurations and automation to enhance performance while reducing costs.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Analyze data to identify and solve problems, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:




  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (including VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3, MKS, Lambda, SES, SQS, EKS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters. Self managed Kubernetes.
  • strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, AWS CLI, Docker, Python).
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts.
  • Familiarity with NIST standards for security and compliance.

Certifications (at least one required):




  • AWS DevOps Engineer
  • AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate

Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
  • strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategy management skills.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-driven with a passion for addressing complex technical challenges.

Location:



Remote work available for candidates based in Virginia, California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina or Massachusetts. Preference to candidates in the Washington DC area
