About the role:

This Senior Global Product Manager will be responsible for leading upstream marketing activities for products within the Vascular business, part of Boston Scientific's Peripheral Interventions division. This individual will focus on the development and execution of strategic business and tactical plans, driving new product development, market and competitive analysis, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers and stay ahead of the market. This role will require strong cross-functional relationships and will be critical in shaping the future of our product offerings and achieving our business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Support product development activities across multiple internal and external groups such as R&D, packaging and labeling, regulatory, clinical, and operations.
  • Drive "Voice of Customer" (VOC) throughout the technology development process to ensure market specifications are incorporated throughout each project phase. Execute and participate in multiple physician advisory boards ensuring all HCP engagements are managed in accordance with compliance policies.
  • Demonstrate command of key business trends and market conditions through market research, clinical literature, metrics, coordination with customer interfacing teams, and personal interactions with key customers.
  • Conduct market research projects as needed to gather insights and drive decision-making.
  • Develop an understanding of current and future market dynamics and the competitive landscape. Monitor, track and, and report on competitive activities and timelines.
  • Oversee the product portfolio pipeline, making strategic recommendations to optimize product offerings and drive future growth. Understand customer unmet needs and translate them into future pipeline recommendations.
  • Act as Marketing Lead on project core teams. Be an integral part of new product development teams, contributing to the ideation, development, and launch of innovative products.
  • Develop and manage claims matrix and evidence plan to support future commercial market entry.
  • Provide ongoing support and refinement of market revenue and segmentation models in partnership with Marketing Strategy and Finance.
  • Develop and execute global customer input plans to inform product development decision-making by partnering with cross-functional core team members.
  • Develop market specifications that appropriately capture customer and business needs.
  • Track performance against objectives and plans, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or healthcare
  • 5+ years prior upstream marketing, product management, or strategic marketing
  • 3+ years of medical device experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience with product lifecycle management
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modeling and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with KOL engagement and managing physician collaborators
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, to include international travel.

  • Advanced degree (such as MBA)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
