  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The CRISPR Lab at NCSU is seeking to hire a temporary 0.5 FTE position. The primary purpose of this role is to develop lab systems and protocols that enhance data management processes, analysis, and storage for large biological and OMIC datasets (primarily genomics and transcriptomic).

Primary Duties:


  • Overhaul current lab data processes to ensure security, storage and accessibility, including cloud computing and university clusters.

  • Provide support to the lab PI, staff, and students with their computational and bioinformatics needs.

  • Develop research tools and pipelines for standardized CRISPR Lab workflows and analyses, and maintain GitHub, Docker, and lab web domains.

  • Conduct bioinformatics research, including curating and mining in-house CRISPR lab datasets, with the goal of publication in peer-reviewed journals and contributions to grant submissions.
