The Project Manager-Solar will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects. This role focuses on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards while managing a team of professionals and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solar project management from inception to completion.
- Coordinate preconstruction activities including design and permitting.
- Manage project budgets and cost estimates effectively.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and team members.
- Maintain customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project quality assurance and control measures.
- Prepare and present strategic and operational planning reports.
- Proven experience in solar project management and construction project management.
- Strong understanding of preconstruction, design, and permitting processes.
- Excellent skills in cost management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated leadership and project coordination abilities.
- Experience in risk management and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of quality control and assurance practices.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in strategic and operational planning.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
- Outstanding decision-making, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent computer skills and communication proficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and engineering principles.
