  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

COMPENSATION

"No one gets rich by working" so we are a pre-money start-up with ~20 mostly part-time, internationally remote, passionate members contributing sweat equity for early stock option ownership.

ROLE

The social equity content writer will focus on blunt, dry-toned, 'drop-the-mic' socio-political-emotional human issues that are driving dischord in modern society and workplace politics. The voice is critical to capture our brand and purpose which is a mixture of Greta Thunberg, Pew Research and Vice News — meets Buggs Bunny (yes, Buggs Bunny!) but with a mandate to be brutally honest about our biggest collective human issues.

WE ARE SEEKING someone who:

* has a knack for identifying the emotional 'rub' and making it 'itch';

* employs right-brain, flow-state, advertising-based communication thinking;

* has stong journalistic, speech-writing and/or socio-political storytelling ability;

* would not get bored talking about "ubiquitous localized democracy" (our product);

* knows how to leverage 'wait-what-hooks' in today's fast media cycle;

* has a pulse on current social-media content consumption trends;

* is well-versed in current social / political issues + related historical comparisons;

* is adept at maximizing / recycling / repurposing content;

* can contribute at least 15 hours per week consistently;
