Lead Framer Qualification

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of residential wood framing experience, specializing in additions and remodeling projects.
  • Proven ability to read and understand residential construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in layout techniques, including popping lines on foundations and mark plates.
  • Skilled in nailing and standing framed walls.
  • Experience with cutting in new structural beams in existing bearing walls.
  • Expertise in plumbing and lining framing structures.
  • Familiarity with layout for CJ's or FJ's (presumably cold joints or floor joints).
  • Ability to cut roof packages accurately and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of fascia and plywood installation techniques.
  • Experience in wood forming for foundations.
