Responsibilities

  • Perform medical imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment
  • Obtain patient history and explain the procedure to patients
  • Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or potential concerns
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Certification in Sonography
  • Proficient in performing various ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, vascular, musculoskeletal, breast, pediatric and obstetric/gynecologic scans
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with different types of medical imaging equipment
  • Experience working in fast-paced clinical setting is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
