Responsibilities

Perform medical imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment
Obtain patient history and explain the procedure to patients
Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or potential concerns
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

Certification in Sonography
Proficient in performing various ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, vascular, musculoskeletal, breast, pediatric and obstetric/gynecologic scans
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Familiarity with different types of medical imaging equipment
Experience working in fast-paced clinical setting is preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
