Description:
As a hands-on Production Supervisor, you will oversee and perform all steps of the production process to ensure quality and efficiency. You will act as the primary trainer for new employees, maintaining records of their training progress, and coordinate daily staff assignments to optimize workflow. Your role includes implementing and monitoring production performance metrics to drive improvements, troubleshooting issues and determining when to escalate them to management or engineering. Additionally, you will develop and enhance production processes, participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members, manage inventory levels accurately, collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure material availability, and expedite rush orders by facilitating effective communication and coordination to meet urgent customer needs.

Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the IoT, electronics, or hardware industry.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including PCB flashing, assembly, labeling, testing, packaging, shipping, and sensor calibration.
- Process Optimization: Demonstrated ability to optimize and improve production processes using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with production management software and a solid grasp of quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive results independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Haves:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certifications in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar.
- Industry-Specific Experience: Direct experience with IoT hardware manufacturing.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory requirements for IoT products, especially in an ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 certified environment.
- Technical Collaboration: Experience working closely with engineering teams to implement process improvements.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.
