Director of Revenue Operations

Our client is seeking a Revenue Director with experience in ASC606 technical accounting. The role involves managing the global revenue recognition accounting function, closing the monthly books, overseeing operational process enhancements, and integrating acquired companies’ revenue processes. MUST have experience with 606 in a SaaS organization.

Duties include ensuring global revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606, collaborating with other leaders on revenue recognition for new products, pricing changes, and new contracts, and regularly advising management on emerging GAAP guidance and policies.

The role also involves conducting accounting policy research, supporting external audits, and managing two revenue accountants. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of accounting experience with a significant amount of time spent in revenue recognition and operations in SAAS. A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting are necessary, and CPA experience is strongly preferred. Other key requirements include strong collaboration skills, autonomy, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and excellent communication skills. The role can be done remotely with minimal travel required. This role can be performed from anywhere in the US.
