VP of retail asset management

High Country: Private Equity Search has been retained to find a VP of asset management for a real estate private equity firm's retail platform. The firm has less than USD $5B of AuM but is experiencing strategic growth through a series of successful institutional capital raises over the last year and into 2025. They have a tremendous track record and have raised over USD $4B of fund capital since inception.

The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of asset management functions for a growing portfolio of retail assets around the country. The firm specializes in repositioning and repurposing of Class A assets. As such, functions will range from basic asset realization blocking and tackling to more complex construction/heavy value-add strategy and execution. Additionally, due to this being a PE enterprise, the selected candidate will need to be comfortable with a variety of financing and capital markets activities. Additionally, the asset management team is part of the broader investment function. As such, asset managers play an integral role in the acquisitions process.
