Tasks
- Manage and oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll administration.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions, ensuring all employee data is up-to-date and confidentially maintained.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure proper employee data handling, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions.
- Respond to inquiries from employees and management regarding payroll matters, providing exceptional service and resolution in line with the company's values of accessibility and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
