Tasks

  • Manage and oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll administration.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions, ensuring all employee data is up-to-date and confidentially maintained.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure proper employee data handling, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees and management regarding payroll matters, providing exceptional service and resolution in line with the company's values of accessibility and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
