Confidential Opportunity: Senior Buyer - Indirect Materials

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing procurement processes? A leading company is seeking a Senior Buyer with expertise in indirect spend categories to take their procurement and supply chain efforts to the next level. This is a highly impactful role, reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain Management, where you will lead category management and supplier relationship management to drive cost savings and efficiency across multiple indirect spend categories such as logistics, IT services, and professional services.

What You ll Do:
Lead strategic sourcing efforts across diverse indirect categories, including logistics, facilities, IT, marketing, travel, and capital expenditure.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, and IT) to align strategies with business objectives.
Analyze spend patterns and supplier performance to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Ensure full compliance with company policies and ethical standards throughout the procurement process.

What We re Looking For:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications such as CSCP or CPSM are a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, focusing on indirect categories.
Proven ability to deliver cost savings and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools and techniques.
A high degree of professionalism, ethical conduct, and integrity.
