Job Description

AbbVie is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Intelligence (PI) Value Delivery and Demand Management to join our team. This role will be pivotal in managing PI Value Delivery, Demand Management, and Operationalization initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in process optimization, intelligent automation, and governance to lead various initiatives from ideation through execution.

In this role you will be responsible for:

PI Intake/Demand Management Operationalization

• Rollout and Governance: Lead the rollout of Automation Hub and establish governance frameworks.
• Define and Operationalize Processes: Design and implement ongoing governance processes for PI Intake and Demand Management.

KPI Performance Management for Delivery/Cycle Time

• Set Targets and Baseline: Prioritize and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for PVD delivery and cycle times. Establish baseline metrics, set targets, and develop tracking mechanisms.
• Track and Report KPIs: Regularly monitor and report on PVD delivery/cycle time KPIs. Establish review cycles and update KPIs as necessary.

Value-driven Portfolio Management

• Idea Intake and Categorization: Manage the portfolio of opportunities, including PO&R, process mining, and intelligent automation, through idea intake and categorization processes.
• Value Potential Reporting: Manage, confirm, and report the value potential of each opportunity in the portfolio.

• Opportunity Prioritization Guidelines: Establish and manage guidelines for prioritizing opportunities (active vs. backlog) across the PI Team. Influence value delivery thru portfolio prioritization recommendations that highlight maximal value.

License and Funding Management

• License Usage Monitoring: Monitor and report on license usage and manage the allocation of licenses.
• Funding and Chargeback Management: Confirm initiative funding and execute chargeback management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in an Analytics role, or equivalent, required. Minimum of 7 years with Master's degree. Minimum 3 years with PhD.
• Experienced in strategic planning and critical thinking.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to track and report on KPIs.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of opportunities and prioritize initiatives, including IT project portfolio, program, financial and performance management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and influence various stakeholders.
• Strong relationship building skills with a diversity of stakeholder types; demonstrated expertise with a client-centered approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Highly polished presentation and marketing skills - ability to communicate with influence and motivate multiple audiences.
• Experience in working as a Process Excellence Leader including metric-based performance management.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in process improvement or process consultancy experience with exposure to digital transformation programs and an enterprise-wide mindset.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
