The Media/Marketing Associate is supporting media planning/buying and campaign analysis related for the marketing team. They develop small to medium size clients through plan development and execution. In addition, the Marketing Associate supports the overall team, especially in securing media and managing billing. This individual demonstrates an emerging ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with specialists and data teams. They also assist in the training and mentorship of Marketing/Media Coordinators.

Has shown the ability to analyze data and relative insights; can present information/plans to clients (in writing and verbally). Has demonstrated emerging relationship skills and a good working knowledge of media processes, terms, publishers, and products. Has mastered internal planning tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial
    • Demonstrates professionalism and personal accountability for on-time, on-budget, and quality execution of personal deliverables.
    • Adept at processing monthly billing via tools. Reconciles assigned accounts within required deadlines.
  • Service Offerings
    • Knowledge of mediate.ly service offerings and how marketing fits into the company.
    • Support high quality programs and deliverables that drive meaningful/measurable impact.
    • Seek out best practices/market innovations, listen to other ideas, and help execute practices at mediate.ly
    • Establish strong foundational knowledge across all marketing service offerings. Service offerings include paid media (off line/traditional, paid search, social, display, etc.), experiential marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing and content marketing.
    • Meets with media vendors to understand offerings. Shares opportunities with team.
  • Service Development
    • Build plans to meet clients' needs - with oversight. Introduce new opportunities.
    • Enter plans into Prisma/Spectra.
    • Work with team members to develop data dashboards and standardized reports.
    • Develop excellent presentation skills (written and verbal).
    • Raise awareness of inefficiencies and process improvements when needed.
    • Provide recommendations for enhancing current service offerings.
    • Try different approaches that can increase successful outcomes for mediate.ly and our clients.
    • Recommend and promote new ideas and diverse thinking to change internal and external processes.
  • New Business
    • Assist in the acquisition of new clients through work on client/conference presentations and RFP responses.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing preferred
  • 1 + year(s) experience
  • MS Office; Communication Skills; Critical Thinking
  • Dedication to accuracy
  • Experience in one or more: Prisma, Spectra, TapClicks
