Serves as project lead for the compilation, analysis and preparation of financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis of FedEx companies, including consolidated reporting and/or reporting in compliance with SEC rules and regulations.
Essential Functions
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in accounting or finance-related discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years experience in public accounting or the accounting department of a public company.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong accounting and reporting skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, project management and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications: CPA preferred Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and communication skills Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of US GAAP to complex transactions including documentation Intellectual curiosity and flexibility Interest in accounting systems Experience with accounting for hyperinflationary countries M&A accounting advisory and experience with purchase accounting Experience with SEC reporting and month-end close processes Openness for occasional travel

Essential Functions

- Provide interpretation and support to users of financial statements.
- Lead projects related to the design and enhancement of financial reporting systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
