Our client is a leading firm in Northern California, known for pushing the boundaries of construction excellence. We are looking to find them someone to lead the charge through the entire pre-construction process, bringing concepts to life with budgeting prowess, Design-Build expertise, and a mastery of Alternative Project Delivery Methods.
This is a key leadership role, you will be at the forefront of projects, steering them toward success. Your vision will shape future of construction projects. You will have the unique opportunity to build strong client relationships, working directly with owners and owner representatives daily, and helping them turn their dreams into reality. Your role will involve close coordination with engineers, architects, and municipalities. You'll be the linchpin connecting diverse teams, making projects come together seamlessly.
You ll be part of a team that thrives on innovation and Lean Construction principles. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you conquer logistical challenges and ensure projects stay on track. Summary of Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, capable of fostering a collaborative and integrated professional environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- A detail-oriented mindset, with an emphasis on accuracy in budgeting and scheduling.
- A problem-solving attitude and adaptability in the face of changing project requirements.
- An undergraduate degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related construction field is preferred. Equivalent education and experience will also be considered.
- DBIA Certification is a plus, showcasing your expertise in Design-Build.
- A minimum of five to ten years in construction estimating and project management is required.
- Five or more years of experience with Design-Build and Alternative Project Delivery Methods, including a deep understanding of Lean Construction principles and processes.
