Are you ready to take your planning expertise to the next level?

As a Production Planner , you'll be at the heart of our operations, defining and deploying innovative resource planning tools and processes that drive efficiency and excellence in our site operations. You'll play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle of serve rack systems and other corporate IT assets, ensuring they are received, processed, and disposed of with precision.

In this dynamic role, you will analyze both long and short-term forecasts, leveraging the cutting-edge planning models you've helped create. Your insights will be key in identifying the resources needed to meet our service level requirements, while you measure and monitor daily production performance. By recommending strategic adjustments in labor and resource allocations, you will directly influence our operational efficiency, output, and quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, communicate, and monitor the master production schedule for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers and Logistics Coordinators to prioritize and adjust daily workflows in response to changing demands.
  • Identify and communicate unplanned delays to Client Services, adjusting schedules and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Manage and validate complex spreadsheets and system tools for accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate and analyze production activity reports, comparing results against planned targets.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in manufacturing operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, technical degree or certification
  • Proven experience as production planner
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
  • Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Iron Mountain's Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business is responsible for the deployment, management, and ultimate decommissioning and disposition of technology assets. These include hard drives, servers, laptops, tablets, and network devices that contain customer or organizational data that needs utmost safeguarding when they reach their end of useful life.

In the process, ALM takes IT assets to sanitize, clean, and remove the data and recycle or repurpose in a sustainable and environmentally sound way.
