Field Technology Support Specialist (Technology Applications Specialist I Field Support)

About the job

We are seeking a Technology Applications Specialist with a strong technology background to join our team on a 3-month contract with the possibility of a permanent position based on performance. This role is located onsite in Parma, OH, and focuses on documenting systems and processes, collaborating with subject matter experts, and assisting with the release of new services. The ideal candidate will have operational acumen and work closely with system administrators and the technology team.

What youll be doing:

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to build detailed documentation on systems and processes
  • Updating and managing the companys systems procedure guides end to end
  • Working with developers and operations to create new documents for upcoming service releases
  • Creating, documenting, and refining technical information and various materials explaining products, tools, and services
  • Managing multiple projects within content specifications, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Assisting with customer training on company products and services, driving volume building, and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and PDF software like Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
