Sr. Wireless PHY System Engineer

Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for bringup, integration and tuning of PHY/Radio on internal silicon solutions from pre-silicon, through bringup, and until shipping in your favorite Apple products.

Description

In this individual technical contributor role, you will be responsible for the pre- and post-silicon bringup of key PHY and radio system for state-of-the-art wireless SOC products. Your responsibilities will include:Transmit and receive chain bringup, tuning, and debug; optimizing PHY and calibration algorithms such as TPC, A TSSI, RSSI, interference mitigation and others. You will collaborate closely with other PHY systems and algorithm engineers as well as MAC, Radio, and digital circuit designers. You will develop chip control drivers and reference implementations in the bringup environment and working closely with firmware engineers to integrate these algorithms into the firmware. You will also guide and assist the characterization team in identifying and resolving reported issues.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
