Job Title: PeopleSoft T&E Developer

Location: Austin, TX

Hourly rate: $60 Hourly/hr. on C2C

Job Description:

  • An experienced PeopleSoft Developer to support a technology hub implementation of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) PeopleSoft Travel and Expense (T&E) module in the Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement System (WRAPS).
  • Work involves enhancements to a baseline install of the T&E module while ensuring continued operations of underlying TWC PeopleSoft customizations.
  • Assists in the design and development of PeopleSoft customizations based on business requirements. Experience with developing bolt-on solutions for PeopleSoft is needed.
  • Responsible for understanding requirements, designing, developing, testing, and implementing new and custom modules.
  • Requires a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft T&E implementations.
  • TWC uses an Oracle database and AIX servers. Worker(s) will augment TWC s PeopleSoft technical and functional team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations.

Required Skills:

  • Experience implementing/upgrading/maintaining PeopleSoft ERP systems.
  • Technical support to implement, upgrade,or maintain PeopleSoft, including Application, Data Mover Scripts Engine, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and SQR.
  • Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Communication, analytical,and interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Implementing/upgrading or maintaining the State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance system: Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement System (WRAPS) at the Texas Workforce Commission, or Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) at the Comptroller of Public Accounts
  • Configuration of Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System for Texas (CAPPS) Travel & Expense (T&E) module
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Experience collecting technical requirements and designing appropriate software solutions

  • Create, Maintain, and Update System and configuration-specific documentation like Environment Diagrams, Security, and Integration mapping
