V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a QA - Sr. QA/QC (Remote) for our premier client.

WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications

• Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Project Manager (CPM).

Education and Experience

• Engineering Degree.
• Experience in the conversion while hot (in operation) of TDMA microwave network to MPLS in networks consisting of more than 100 sites: 5+ years.
• Governance of statewide or enterprise wide wireless initiatives for statewide public safety projects: 10+ years.
• Site Engineering Services: 10+ years.
• Verifiable proven methodology for managing project documentation to include identification, filing, and archival of project documents: 10+ years.
• Change management services to include accurate tracking and measuring project variances: 10+ years.
• Experience in the analyses and corrective action(s) necessary to resolve microwave path performance issues: 10+ years.
• Experience with Statewide 700 MHz P25 digital trunked two-way radio systems: 10+ years.
• Experience with Motorola TDMA digital trunked two-way radio systems: 10+ years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Project: 10+ years.
• Experience in the deployment and implementation of at least four (4) large-scale LMR (Land Mobile Radio systems) wireless communication system for statewide public safety projects of similar size or scope to MSWIN. Large scale being defined as a minimum of 120 sites.: 10+ years.
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control Services: 15+ years.
• System and Component Testing and Acceptance Services: 15+ years.
• Experience with Motorola digital trunked two-way radio systems: 10+ years.
• Experience in the deployment and testing of a state-wide, five master site P25 public safety network: 5+ years.
• Experience in the deployment and testing of a state-wide P25 700 MHz narrow-band FDMA (Frequency Division Multiple Access) integrated voice and data (IV&D) network: 5+ years.
• Experience in the deployment and testing of P25 network employing OTAR and OTAP: 5+ years.
• Experience in the testing of multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) networks: 10+ years.
• Experience in the testing of digital microwave systems.: 10+ years.
• Experience in the upgrade and testing of a state-wide P25 700 MHz FDMA network to a P25 phase 2 TDMA network: 5+ years.
• TBN Engineering Services: 10+ years.
• Experience in the design, licensing, deployment and testing of Sonet and MPLS Aviat, Alcatel-Lucent, and Cielo microwave networks: 10+ years.
• Experience in the design, licensing, deployment and testing of Sonet and MPLS based microwave backhaul networks consisting of 100 hops or greater: 10+ years.
• Experience in the analyses and corrective action(s) necessary to resolve microwave path performance issues: 10+ years.

Preferred:

• Direct experience with the WCCs MSWIN System infrastructure, sites and operation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interact with functional users, technical staff, and Motorola project team members regarding business and information technology needs.
• Ability to listen and solve problems.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work independently under the supervision of the WCC Executive Officer.
