Description:
The Network Site Coordinator position will provide technical assistance and assessment of designated NYS OMH facilities via the NYS ITS Network Site Consultation process. This will include but not limited to circuit bandwidth, Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone system upgrades and wireless upgrades. The position will require travel to complete the physical site assessments.
Day to day tasks include:
The consultant will work on equipment installation, relocation and removal. The consultant will be working on VOIP phones, WAPS, and data communications equipment for supporting the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH). Consultant will participate in the planning and execution of all phases of project including request analysis, site surveys, site preparation, cable troubleshooting and installation, asset management, inventory control, and network assistance.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Senior 60-84 Months
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Secondary Qualifications:
60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting PCs and Printers
60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting servers
12 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting VOIP phones
60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting data communications equipment
60 Months of Experience conducting technical site surveys
60 Months of Experience data cable installation/troubleshooting
36 Months of Experience conducting inventory control
36 Months of Experience in desktop support
