Azure DevOps Principal Architect

The Sr. DevOps Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DevOps processes and Azure infrastructure for our clients. This role involves working closely with the Center of Excellence (CoE) team and project teams to ensure seamless cloud operations, security, networking, and automation using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Azure native cloud services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, a holistic understanding of project team dynamics, and the ability to guide organizations through project assessments and optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of DevOps frameworks on Azure, ensuring optimal infrastructure, security, and network management.
• Collaborate with CoA and project teams to drive project assessments, create high-level architecture strategies, and ensure alignment with business needs and produce/share the results with CoE and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Provide consulting expertise on Azure Cloud services, Azure DevOps (ADO), and infrastructure security, ensuring secure and scalable deployments.
• Assess current DevOps pipelines, identify gaps, and implement solutions to automate, streamline, and optimize delivery processes.
• Establish continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.
• Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructures, ensuring best practices in network design, data protection, and compliance standards.
• Establish smooth deployments of applications on Azure AKS using ADO and Terraform.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on Azure features, DevOps trends, and security updates, ensuring the latest advancements are integrated into the projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services, automation, and security, ensuring business continuity and performance.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud architecture, with at least 5 years working with Azure Cloud services along with ADO and Terraform.
• Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale Azure infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including CI/CD pipelines, ARM templates, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) mostly Terraform.
• Strong hands-on experience on Azure AKS and Terraform.
• Expertise in network design, cloud security, and monitoring tools for Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to assess project architectures, identify challenges, and propose scalable, secure solutions.
• Consulting experience with the ability to guide clients through cloud adoption, DevOps automation, and process optimization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with CoA teams and project teams.
• Certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar preferred.
