Work Location: Hybrid/Washington, DC. On-site in DC 1-2 times per week, availability for more often preferred.
Join Gunnison Consulting's robust cybersecurity practice as a Project Manager for one of our key clients on a successful program! We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to support our Department of State client. The candidate will serve on a program supporting information system assessment and authorization (A&A) in accordance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Support execution of Step 0-3 of the Risk Management Framework in accordance with NIST 800-37 and 800-53
- Responsible for multiple tasks, within a given project, supporting the Consular Affairs Authorizing Official Designated Representative (AODR).
- Responsible for the day-to-day technical management and leadership for the technical project/task orders of varying scope and size.
- Ensures managed projects are completed successfully within negotiated parameters to include technical implementation and associated documentation objectives.
- Coordinates closely with system owners and stakeholders to determine project schedule and business requirements.
- Coordinates closely with business analysts and technical personnel to achieve current and future project goals.
Required Experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Security+ certification
Desired Experience:
- Experience using Archangel, ServiceNow, Technical Hardware and Software Experience, Networking
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CAP, Network+
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (+5 years)
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance.
The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
