  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

PRISM seeks a Sr. Desktop Support Technician with an Active DoD Secret Clearance to join our IT team and provide exceptional technical support to our end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support for desktop and laptop computers.
  • Perform regular system backups, network storage allocation, and preventative maintenance.
  • Support Microsoft Windows environments and troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Install and configure software patches, updates, and upgrades.
  • Maintain and optimize network performance and troubleshoot network problems.
  • Provide technical assistance for relocations and moves.
  • Create, update, and track service call requests.
  • Stage and take down end-user workstations and associated equipment.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
