The Manager, MSAT Strategy & Business Integration is in the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Center of Excellence (COE), which partners with cross-functional leaders across Innovative Medicines Supply Chain and Therapeutics Development & Supply in the development and execution of the MSAT Strategic Framework. MSAT mission is to provide technical leadership for the introduction and lifecycle management of our product portfolio, while creating value through innovative responses to customer and business requirements!

This position develops, maintains, and drives the MSAT Performance Management Process to use metrics to guide decision making, execution, continuous improvement, measure performance and support the creation and capture of value across MSAT.

Finally, this position consults on strategic initiatives within MSAT, partnering closely with cross-functional team members for both internal and external industry intelligence, to build people, process, and systems capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and oversight of the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Strategic Framework.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners for business case development and value realization.
  • Collaborates on integrated business planning and departmental budget management.
  • Evaluates cross-functional resources and engages partners to progress global and regional strategic projects and key end goals and deliverables.
  • Drives progression and analysis of key performance measures, goals, and objectives along with project plans for team member action items and achievements.
  • Facilitates and/or supervises MSAT governance forums ensuring adherence to strategic framework.
  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications

Education:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or Advanced degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant professional experience is required.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (manufacturing / technical / supply chain) and/or Business,Finance environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to analyze financial data and apply budgeting principles, facilitating effective management of financial resources and informed decision-making
  • Ability to track process improvement and measure business value realization, ensuring that initiatives are delivering the intended results
  • Proven experience with respect to project evaluation and providing recommendations and ability to influence peers and people at higher levels within the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to effectively use data to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
  • Exceptional social skills, making you a standout colleague and allowing you to influence others without formal authority.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, allowing you to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a complex, high-profile, and constantly evolving environment.

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain
  • Experience working within technical teams
  • Demonstrated digital competence on supply chain systems, data analysis and visualization solutions (Power BI, Minitab, Planisware)
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP or FPX)

Other:
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Works in an international environment across different time zones
  • Requires up to 25% domestic and/or international travel as needed
  • This position is to be based at an Innovative Medicine Supply Chian locations in EU-Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland US-NJ/PA

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 100,000 to 172,500.
  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
  • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work
  • Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
