What you'll do

  • Engage with internal business partners to help define data and forward-thinking reporting needs for Sales and Revenue Management leaders.
  • Use data visualization tools to tell a story through data insights and examples.
  • Extract, manipulate and join data from multiple internal sources into a population set for comparative or in-depth analysis.
  • Manage and produce ad-hoc reports as well as recurring reporting that provide data-based insights for solutions to business questions
  • Influence the direction of Cargo commercial initiaves through data analysis and insights
  • Will support all areas of the Cargo commercial business with the goal of increasing revenue, and improving operational and service performance


All you'll need for success

  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience solving large operational problems
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • MBA or Master's degree in in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
    • Expertise in one or more of the following: data science, and/or statistics; practical experience in data extraction, cleansing, analysis, and visualization
    • Previous airline experience
  • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • Experience with at least one visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) and experience using data analytics software tools to analyze large data sets
    • Must possess excellent communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of AA Cargo leadership, including the President of AA Cargo
