As a Marketing Assistant at Sol-Up, you will play a key role in supporting the VP of Marketing across multiple workstreams. Your role is critical to ensuring cohesive brand management, driving successful marketing campaigns, and supporting both internal and external events. You will work on advertising, media relations, product management, and sales enablement to promote Sol-Up's cutting-edge solar, premium energy solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and executing paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and text messaging.
  • Build relationships with media contacts and manage press releases, media outreach, and sponsorship opportunities with partners and external organizations.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels, including digital, print, and event marketing materials.
  • Assist in the creation and management of email, social media, and text message campaigns, including drafting content, audience segmentation, performance tracking, and engagement.
  • Provide logistical and on-site support for Sol-Up-hosted events, including setup, vendor coordination, and attendee management. Assist with the company s presence at third-party events, including sponsorship coordination and booth management.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and research on industry trends, customer insights, and buying habits to inform product development and campaign strategies.
  • Work on content creation for digital media, including video production, photography, ad copy, blog posts, and social media content.
  • Assist with the design and distribution of print materials, such as brochures and flyers, as well as branded merchandise for promotional events.
  • Maintain and update website content, working with web development teams to ensure a smooth user experience and improve SEO.
  • Collaborate with product teams to launch and market new products, coordinating marketing materials and internal communication.
  • Support the sales team by providing marketing collateral, presentations, and insights on customer data, campaign performance, and product information.
  • Promote and manage marketing initiatives for Sol-Up's Solar Store, ensuring product availability, marketing alignment, and customer engagement.
  • Track sales data and marketing activities, ensuring timely reporting and adjusting strategies as needed based on customer feedback and satisfaction levels.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 1-3 years of marketing or administrative experience, preferably in renewable energy or tech.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across workstreams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and Google Drive.
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus but not essential.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Lift or carry up to 30 pounds unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, such as moving marketing materials or event setup.
  • Physically access all work areas, both indoors and outdoors, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Sit, walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods as needed to complete job tasks.
  • Be able to work both indoors and outdoors, and be exposed to various environmental factors, including but not limited to heat, cold, noise, and dust.
