Software Product Specialist
Paperless Environments has been revolutionizing our accounts payable workflow automation and document management software since 2005. Our pVault software enables customers to efficiently manage their accounts payable processing through workflow automation, document management and accounting system integration. Position Overview
As a Software Product Specialist, you will be the go-to expert on our products and services, and a knowledge resource to both customers and our internal teams. Your role will involve mastering the details of our software solutions, helping align solutions with client needs, and providing expert guidance on our products. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, sales, customer support, and implementation teams, while also engaging directly with customers to help them maximize the value of our offerings. The position will be based within our corporate office in Baton Rouge, LA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services.
- Provide detailed insights and information to customers and internal teams.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends.
- Assist sales team by providing support with product demos and answering technical and functional questions.
- Collaborate with training team and technical writers to develop product training materials and guides.
- Product lifecycle monitoring review and collaboration with development team on enhancements and new features.
- Staying current on industry trends and competitive products to provide timely feedback for product strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, especially with sales, training, and product development.
- Familiarity with Accounting, Document Management or OCR software is preferred.
