Senior Test Engineer - PCBA's

Position Title: Senior Test Engineer - PCBA's Location: Zelienople, PA (onsite) Full-Time

Position Summary:
Define test methodologies and systems to test detectors, application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA's) used in the manufacturing of radiation imaging detectors and detector assemblies.

Design, build and maintain electrical and/or mechanical test fixtures.
Develop tools and processes to automate testing.
Develop procedures and documentation necessary to perform testing.
Develop hardware test diagnostics for PCBA's and cadmium zinc telluride
(CdZnTe, CZT) detectors.
Implement, verify, and ensure compliance of the test and measurement equipment.
Develop the materials necessary for training of operators to perform tests per documented processes.
Documentation and reporting of test set up, test plans, and test results. Coach, develop, train, and mentor less experienced test engineers.

Skills and abilities:
Experience improving and enhancing existing PCBA's, radiation detector devices or equivalent types of equipment.
Experience using data-based tools for decision making and communications.
Willing to lead the product improvement initiatives from a team perspective.
Strong analytical, technical, and methodical problem-solving background.
Experience and comfort using methodical problem-solving approaches.
Good interpersonal skills: ability to influence attitudes and foster change. Self-starting and driven agent of change.
Comfortable working in an ISO 9001 environment.
Experience mentoring less experienced test engineer.
Experience with small electronics components helpful.
Ability to work with Cross functional teams - Ops, R&D, Engineering Management.

B.S Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience, including 6 years' experience in a test engineering role.

M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering and a minimum of 6 years' experience, including 4 years' experience in a test engineering role.
