Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager/ Sr. Release Engineer/ Sr. Deployment Engineer

Location: Seattle WA-(Hybrid- 3 days/Week Onsite)

Duration -10-12 month

Core responsibility -

  1. Focus is on Releasing enterprise applications and understanding of integrations to be able to drive this self-sufficiently. Should have deployment and cloud application background.
  2. The Technical Delivery Manager role contributes to client success by managing and facilitating the product release process and execution across the Digital Platform Engineering (DPE) organization.
  3. The person will be responsible for shipping the product into production every 2 weeks, understanding dependencies and will be driving end to end load testing and working with cross functional team through test sign-off.
  4. The person will need to be onsite at client location 3 days a week.
  5. The Technical Delivery Manager role contributes to success by managing and facilitating the product release process and execution across the Digital Platform Engineering (DPE) organization. This role also supports various tech initiative delivery within the DPE organization.
  6. This candidate has a technical background and attention to detail enable them to identify risks, drive development with predictability and challenge assumptions.

Job Description

  • Faciliate the overall release delivery process, coordinate release activites and dependencies across products and teams
  • Maintain overall release schedule and coordinate with cross functional groups on cross team dependencies and release readiness activities
  • Own release status updates and provide clarity to all stakeholders, including the team, on progress towards the agreed milestones
  • Measure release effectiveness leveraging data trends and metrics to improve the overall customer experience
  • Support various tech initiative delivery by driving implementation planning, support testing, and go-to market planning and execution
  • Support project timelines, clearly setting expectations, and realigning expectations internally as priorities change

Summary of Qualifications and Experience

  • Technology producer, Technical delivery manager, IT project management delivery or program management office experience (10+ years)
  • Managing digital product or service delivery and release in an agile environment (8-9 years)
  • Able to work across disciplines for alignment on product delivery expectations

Acumen and Learning Agility:

  • Expert-level knowledge of standards and practices for IT project and program lifecycle management activities and deliverables
  • Understanding of IT program and portfolio management practices.
  • Clear understanding of project technical activities, including: (1) solution analysis and design; (2) enterprise, solution, and infrastructure architecture; (3) systems integration; (4) data conversion and migration; (5) environment management and build processes; and (6) deployment planning and execution.
  • Expertise in productivity/collaboration tools, particularly Jira, confluence, ServiceNow
  • Advanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Own release status updates and provide clarity to all stakeholders, including the team, on progress towards the agreed milestones
  • Measure release effectiveness leveraging data trends and metrics to improve the overall customer experience
  • Support various tech initiative delivery by driving implementation planning, support testing, and go-to market planning and execution
  • Coordinate project activities across associated project teams; track progress against established plans, report results with project stakeholders
  • Develop project communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating project and program plans
  • Support project timelines, clearly setting expectations, and realigning expectations internally as priorities change
  • Clear understanding of project technical activities, including: (1) solution analysis and design; (2) enterprise, solution, and infrastructure architecture; (3) systems integration; (4)data conversion and migration; (5) environment management and build processes; and (6) deployment planning and execution.
