Network Engineer - AAA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing and switching as well as expertise in setting up and managing AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) infrastructure, specifically with protocols like RADIUS and Diameter. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining network security protocols and ensuring reliable network access control.

Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and support network infrastructure, including routing and switching
* Implement and maintain AAA protocols (RADIUS, Diameter) to manage network access and security
* Ensure network performance and reliability by conducting troubleshooting and implementing solutions
* Monitor network activity to identify potential vulnerabilities and enhance security protocols
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of AAA infrastructure with existing network systems
* Manage and document network configurations, policies, and procedures
* Stay up to date with the latest developments in networking technologies and security protocols

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience as a Network Engineer, including routing and switching experience
* Strong expertise in AAA infrastructure, particularly with RADIUS and Diameter protocols
* In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
* Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills
* Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
* Experience working in the telecommunications industry
* Knowledge of network automation and scripting languages (Python, Ansible)
* Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
