Currently, we are hiring for the following position;

Admissions Lead

The Undergraduate Admissions, Slate and Technology Backfill reports to the Associate Director Data, CRM and Technology in Undergraduate Admissions. The position will be 50% responsible for the management of the office's Slate instance and 50% responsible for Workday Student implementation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Operations (50%)
  • Provide day to day supervision and development to the Assistant Director for Data, CRM and Technology.
  • Serve as the system administrator for Slate CRM; manage permissions, user-defined fields and data codes.
  • Manage and maintain all online applications and inquiry forms for prospective undergraduate students, including freshmen, transfers, international, and online students.
  • Create and share queries and reports as requested to support data validation and strategic operations.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Slate and student information systems (Banner or Workday Student), train staff members on system functionality, and troubleshoot admissions module issues.
  • Liaise with third party vendors on technical needs and integrations.
  • Interface with campus partners and academic units to provide admissions data, create forms and processes, and provide Slate training, as appropriate.

Workday Student Project (50%)
  • Represents Undergraduate Admissions as a Slate subject matter expert on the Workday Student project.
  • Participates in the Recruiting and Admissions Workstream for Workday Student implementation, including configuration and testing. Participates in related Workstream activities as appropriate, such as Integrations.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of Undergraduate Admissions and Early College Program Slate design and integrations to inform the Workday Student implementation.
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage Workday Student to improve current admission and onboarding processes and the student experience.
  • Develops, executes, and tracks progress of Recruiting and Admissions test scenarios.
  • Executes data mapping and data cleanup tasks.
  • In conjunction with Information Technology, develops and tests reports related to Recruiting and Admissions.
  • Assists with development of job aids for the Workday Student Recruiting and Admissions workstream.
  • Provides training to the Admissions staff and other relevant parties to ensure successful adaptation of the Workday Student module.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Master's degree in a related field;
  • Professional and leadership experience in higher education undergraduate admissions;
  • Substantial experience working with student enterprise systems;
  • Demonstrated expertise as a technical CRM manager;
  • Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining a complex Slate instance and integrations with student information systems and vendors;
  • Experience with Banner, Workday Student, Slate CRM and applicant management systems and data analytics modeling;
  • Experience working in the public sector in a unionized environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to the creation and success of a highly diverse student population.
