Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years as Data Architect and SME in Financial Industry, Agile experience is Plus.
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset.
  • An established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework and principles.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services and an ability to articulate product functionality.
  • Understanding of the evolving compliance and regulatory requirements and environment and how to incorporate technology, infrastructure and security requirements into the product design.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability.
  • An ability to solve complex problems and a highly analytical approach.
  • Risk Capabilities experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather data product requirements and convert it into solution design in partnership with technology teams considering the current state and future state architecture. Ensure current needs are being met while the future is being defined.
  • Work with solution management team to identify and analyze the data needs across different journeys.
  • Define the data flow across systems along with integration patterns.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual and logical data models.
  • Define the data consumption principals and architecture.
  • Define design patterns for complex data structures.
  • Coordinate with the PMs and DS teams to assess future needs and requirements, and sync up with respective Share Service/API owners.
  • Focus on data storage/persistence, data models, data access patterns, data flows and data compute patterns as part of data solutioning. Socialize and align the data solution with different stakeholders and risk leader.
  • Articulate a long-term software product strategy and roadmap with clearly defined business metrics and outcomes for real-time data capabilities.
  • Define Data Product foundational capabilities requirements in partnership with key stakeholders demonstrating high level of thought leadership and inclusive leadership.
  • Understand competitive best practices, external trends and integrate them into software product strategies.
  • Enable data and analytics-driven decision making to evolve products and usage.
  • Provide strong leadership to address complex business problems in unknown/ambiguous situation.
