The Analyst will help develop and execute our DE&I strategy across all business units and functional groups. They will partner with broader DE&I Team, Recruitment, Colleague Strategic Partners, and Business Unit leaders to support their talent needs, operationalize enterprise DEI investments, and maximize external strategic partnerships across the company. This candidate will help deepen our commitment to supporting communities and amplify our brand awareness/consideration particularly among these groups. The successful candidate will help identify external diversity-focused organizations, build partnerships with those organizations, and ensure we consistently activate following our brand standards. They will support the design of end-to-end brand engagement experiences and events with clear objectives and report on ROI. This role is a great opportunity to help set new standards by deploying best in class experiences and implementing measures to gauge their success. Below are the primary areas of focus:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of AXP DEI sponsored marketing campaigns, conferences, and proprietary AXP recruiting events through DEI partnerships
  • Support development of strategy to engage a robust and diverse portfolio of partners that help team deliver on its objectives to amplify our brand, retention, and recruitment efforts across the colleague lifecycle (Campus, Experienced, Executive)
  • Responsible for building and management of partner relationships, ensuring we are maximizing relationships and delivering on objectives
  • Provide live and virtual event execution support (in conjunction with colleagues and vendor provided support, as applicable) including activation design and logistics, programming design, delegation/brand ambassador scheduling & training, etc.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing and Brand teams to continually evaluate external employer brand strength in underrepresented communities and work to build, enhance, and leverage brand to drive brand relevance and enterprise objectives
  • Help define DEI partnership objectives, and manage day-today-operations, in partnership with key stakeholders including LOB leaders, Colleague Strategic Partners, GTA, etc.
  • Help identify and evaluate new external partnerships and opportunities that could help serve the enterprise and address gaps in portfolio
  • Collaborate with Recruitment team to develop best in class operating model that will help drive the expansion of our diversity talent pipeline and talent pool from DEI partnerships and events, ultimately supporting our representation objectives
  • Maintain a lens on external DEI trends and initiatives to help position AXP for future opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experienced in program and project management, leading DEI, HR or Marketing programs
  • Experience in event planning and designing end-to-end brand experiences
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the event landscape, awareness of current trends, vendors and best practices for delivering events and experiences
  • Experience managing external partnership relationships
  • Strong collaborator, influencer, and team player with a demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders and deliver complex partnership opportunities
  • Strong, solutions focused, strategic thinker who can translate market trends, partner priorities and internal focus areas into actionable strategic roadmaps
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing marketing and communications strategy
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Travel requirement for this role: 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous agency experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs
  • Prior DEI experience programs and events

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
