RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Writer 3 in Redmond, WA.
Purpose of this team:
* Responsible for creating user and administrator content for a suite of products, including how-tos, conceptual articles, and videos
Key projects:
* This role will contribute to integration of AI into a client product
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of:
* Starting the day by reviewing requests for new content from partners
* Meeting with developers and product managers to initiate the content creation process
* Analyzing data on the performance of existing content and updating outdated content as necessary
* Expecting to use a variety of tools and getting hands-on with the product to validate any created documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience with excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in creating documentation for a technical audience
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* GitHub and Markdown experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
