Mission

Quantum is currently seeking a highly qualified individual to provide support as a Mid-Level Military Operations Analyst to support the Integrated Missile Defense Advocacy Development located at Colorado Springs, Colorado providing A&AS support to JFCC IMD J3 in executing its mission in support of the SecDef, Joint Staff, Uniformed Services, Combatant Commands, Missile Defense Agency, other Agencies, and Allied/Partner Nations. The objective is to provide missile defense mission area support to integrate and operationalize missile defense capabilities to meet operational requirements.

Responsibilities

Provides support for JFCC IMD Current Operations and Asset Management.
  • Effectively supports:
  • Cross-GCC/Service/Agency coordination (USSTRATCOM, MDA, JTAMDO, COCOMs, USSTRATCOM Service Components and other USSPACECOM JFCCs).
  • Planning and adaptive planning staff processes and apply them to BMD.
  • Development of asset management plans (yearly, quarterly, weekly, daily, etc.).
  • Tracking RDT&E elements.
  • Conduct of daily maintenance scheduling conferences.
  • Tracking and notification of partially mission capable/fully mission capable (PMC/FMC) decisions.
  • Scheduling for the Global Force Management process.
  • Development of policy, doctrine, and plans.
  • Support Tier I, II, and III exercises and real-world operations; training, standardization, and evaluation of Operations Center activities.
  • Assists in operational assessment of MDA Integration and Synchronization Group, Program Change Board, and Systems Engineering and Integration Committee (SEIC).
  • Prepares and delivers detailed descriptions of system capabilities in white papers, briefings, and presentations, including compiling and delivering senior-level decision briefings.
  • Attends conferences, meetings, and briefings.

  • Requirements

    Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of Missile Defense and Combatant Commands' areas of responsibility.
  • Understanding of strategic plans and policy.
  • 8 years of IMD / BMDS experience.
  • Travel: 10%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top- Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

    IMD / BMDS experience at Combatant Command Level.
