  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Overview:

A highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our IT Cloud Architecture team.

This individual will play a crucial role in the department s ongoing migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure while supporting the integration of cutting-edge Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

  • The Senior Cloud Architect will not be leading the cloud migration but will actively participate in architectural design and implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration of cloud and on-premises environments.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure delivery and support, with significant exposure to cloud architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS and Azure, including cloud-native application development, application migration, and hybrid environments.
  • Solid experience integrating IoT/ITS technologies, particularly in a transportation or government setting, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, disaster recovery, and data management in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or other similar languages.
  • Familiarity with transportation management technologies and protocols (ITS standards, transportation signal controllers, etc.).
  • Experience working in agile project environments, with the ability to diagram and present cloud architectures.
  • Proficient in utilizing GitHub and GitHub Actions for efficient code management, automation, and deployment processes.
  • Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipeline deployment strategies using Terraform.
