The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining industrial equipment, managing a maintenance team, and ensuring the efficiency and safety of all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, and develop the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of food production machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase equipment longevity.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of repairs, replacements, and upgrades to machinery and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA, EPA, and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, including the procurement of parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production and quality assurance, to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory of parts.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during equipment installations, inspections, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for equipment repairs and maintenance services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical processes.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to workplace safety.
