Procurement Analyst
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have two new six month plus Procurement Analyst opportunities available for a major firm located in Jersey City, New Jersey that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship.
This position pays $40.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding companies.
Description:
The Procurement Analyst position plays a critical role in supporting the procurement operations function working closely with the firms 3rd party vendor and their Source to Pay Platform. This includes program tracking and reporting. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Procurement Analyst will develop and create engaging PowerPoint slide decks for Procurement presentations to senior leadership. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset, who is eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact in our organization. Responsibilities:
Support the procurement team with spend analytics and identification of cost savings and process improvement opportunities
Develop, track, and report procurement KPIs to measure the performance of the procurement organization and vendors
Prepare and maintain vendor scorecards to ensure supplier performance meets organizational expectations and contractual obligations
Collaborate with procurement team members and internal stakeholders to support the RFx process, vendor selection, and contract negotiations
Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices to drive value and operational efficiencies
Support procurement team members in managing vendor relationships to ensure value delivery
Manage small and medium-sized projects, as assigned, driving process improvements and efficiencies
Analyze and optimize the procurement process to drive cost savings and identify process improvement opportunities
Contribute to the development of supplier diversity initiatives and programs, including the identification of diverse vendors
Experience with:
Coupa -Procure to Pay Platform or any Procure to Pay Platform experience
SharePoint application development and deployment
Microsoft Excel / Macros
Automation platforms
