Title: Desktop support Specialist

Location: Somerville, MA

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for Workday support post-launch.
  • Train contractors on Workday functionality.
  • Experience with ticketing system.
  • Provide technical support via phone and online portal, following ITIL best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to software, networking, and security.
  • Document and track issues and resolutions; generate daily reports.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve complex problems.
  • Ensure shift coverage and prioritize unresolved issues.
  • Participate in Service Desk improvement projects

Required Experience:

  • 1+ year of customer service, with technical support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, and information security.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and incident management is a plus.
