The Army National Guard Office of the Chief Surgeon (ARNG-CSG) has the responsibility for the design, development, integration, implementation, and support of medical readiness solutions providing timely, accurate and appropriate decision support information to those charged with the responsibility of managing the medical readiness screening of the ARNG and the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR

This role supports the enhancement and maintenance of the Medical Electronic Data for Care History and Readiness Tracking (MEDCHART) system. As a Patient Administration Subject Matter Expert, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to provide exceptional healthcare administration solutions within the US Army framework.

Salary Range: $115K-$130K range

Duty Location: Contractor’s facilities and as needed at the Arlington Hall Station Enterprise Housing System (AHS-EHS)

Work Hours: 08:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Monday through Friday

Travel: Occasional and within CONUS and the District of Columbia

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a military or government setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHR systems and patient data privacy laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with the US Army's healthcare system is highly advantageous.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Advise on medical records management and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers for efficient data management.
  • Provide expert guidance on military healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with IT specialists to enhance system functionality and user experience.
  • Implement and maintain EHR systems and policies.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in patient records.
  • Consult on training initiatives related to patient administration and EHR systems.
  • Assist in developing training materials for EHR systems.
  • Advise on patient data management and electronic health record systems.
  • Analyze healthcare data to improve patient care services.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of patient data management processes.
