Our client, a French multinational company that specializes in digital automation and energy management, is looking to hire a HR Generalist to join their team 100% ONSITE in Universal City, CA!

*** This begins as a 3-month contract with any opportunity to extend/convert ***

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end employee lifecycle support
  • Recruitment and Onboarding – work with hiring managers, HRM and talent acquisition team to identify and onboard top talent; be the key point of contact before and during first few months to ensure effective onboarding
  • Reward and Benefits – work with central reward and benefits team when required for new hires, adjustments and other changes in reward and benefits.
  • Training – ensure all new employees fulfil training requirements. Set-up and run ad-hoc training (i.e. HR systems, recruitment, and performance management) as and when required
  • Employee Relations - manage more junior employee relations issues directly; provide coaching to supervisors and managers through the process. Partner with Corporate Employment Law team to ensure risk is mitigated.
  • Provide onsite HR support as required – serve as main point of contact

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • 1+ year of recent LOA experience
  • HR Generalist with FMLA (leave of absence) and Reasonable Accommodations experience REQUIRED
  • Additionally, California has very specific and complicated leave laws, so it’s necessary for the candidate to have experience administering leave in CA or otherwise have a strong understanding of the LOA interactions in CA.
