Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute incident response plans and conduct cyber forensic investigations
  • Create comprehensive incident reports and investigation summaries
  • Proactively collect intelligence to detect and address high-confidence threats
  • Analyze and validate security control requirements, tune, script, and mitigate attacks
  • Review tools, applications, and processes to optimize security capabilities and fill gaps
  • Communicate problems and solutions clearly to peers and management
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and governance
  • Lead security event analysis and collaborate with teams to safeguard assets
  • Design and implement practical security solutions to meet emerging threats and compliance needs
  • Lead the development of security projects and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Redesign and document security processes and procedures
  • Coordinate the development of security awareness training
  • Work with IT staff to select, install, and configure security hardware and software
  • Respond to security incidents, documenting findings, and ensuring business continuity
  • Aid in disaster recovery planning and implementation
  • Research, design, and recommend new or improved security technologies
