About the Role:

One of our clients, a prominent organization in the public education sector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure. In this role, you will lead critical IT infrastructure projects, ensuring the smooth execution of large-scale initiatives while fostering collaboration across departments. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic environment, where your expertise will directly contribute to the success of vital educational technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT infrastructure projects, such as server, network, security, and telecommunications implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project work plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project performance and progress.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring they align with project goals and client strategies.
  • Ensure project documentation, processes, and procedures are maintained and followed.
  • Oversee resource allocation, project budgets, and timelines to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Project Management).
  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification required.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex IT projects, such as server, network, and security implementations.
  • Experience in education-related IT projects is a plus but not required.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Expertise in IT infrastructure technologies, including server, network, security, and telecommunications systems.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
