We are thrilled to announce a fantastic job opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Collaboration/Voice Domain to join our expanding DSI Tech team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead the deployment of customer projects, providing support management for large enterprise Cisco UC infrastructure. You will also assist in site readiness assessments and preparations, oversee deployments and cutovers and ensure the technical deployment and integrity of the solution. As part of your responsibilities, you will document project and/or complex designs, deliver customer solutions, and develop technical design collateral. Your goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and success by delivering high-quality solutions and documentation.

The successful candidate will be required to have extensive design and implementation experience with Cisco Unified Communications Products, such as Cisco Business Edition Servers, Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Cisco IM and Presence, Cisco Unified Border Gateways, and Cisco IP Phones.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and deployment of Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration system.
  • Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and deployment of Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration system.
  • Works with customers in planning and designing highly successful UC environments.
  • Works with customers to align technology to their business opportunities and needs in the context of their communications platform strategy.
  • Utilizes experience delivering consulting engagements and working with distributed sales teams along with deployment team members. Possesses a command of the voice technologies and other components that comprise the core Cisco Collaboration product family.
  • Utilizes deep technical knowledge and communication skills and organizational agility to guide customers through UC integration projects and performs the hands-on technical content development or solution design work.
  • Design and architect Cisco-based collaboration solutions, including Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, Contact Center Express (UCCX), Webex Calling and other related technologies.
  • Implement and configure Cisco collaboration solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization. This includes deploying, integrating, and optimizing various collaboration components.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex collaboration issues. Diagnose and resolve problems related to voice and video communication, network connectivity, and interoperability.
  • Implement and optimize Quality of Service policies to ensure optimal performance of voice and video traffic across the network.
  • Implement security best practices for collaboration solutions, including securing voice and video communications and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for collaboration designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Plan and execute upgrades and migrations of collaboration infrastructure components to ensure the organization runs the latest and most secure software versions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in collaboration technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.
  • Provide training to other IT staff and end-users on collaboration technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Cisco CCIE Collaboration certification is mandatory. Additional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) would be a plus.
  • Five years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco collaboration solutions in enterprise environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco collaboration technologies, including CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, Cisco Voice Gateways, etc.
  • Expertise in VoIP and video protocols and codecs.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, SIP, H.323, and others.
  • Experience with collaboration security practices and technologies.
  • Proficiency in collaboration infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
