Network System Administraor

Kavaliro is seeking an experienced Network/System Administrator to join our client s team in Winter Garden, FL. This role is ideal for an IT professional with a strong background in networking and systems administration.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Administer both Windows and UNIX systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Monitor network performance using tools like Wireshark, Solarwinds, or other network monitoring and troubleshooting software.
• Provide support and maintenance for network hardware, including Extreme, Brocade, and MikroTik devices.
• Support Mitel and Shoregear switches, as well as the Mitel Contact Center environment.
• Collaborate with IT team members to implement best practices in network management and system administration.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working in the IT field.
• CCNA or CCNP certification required.
• Strong experience with Windows and UNIX environments.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and Solarwinds (preferred).
• Experience working with network hardware such as Extreme, Brocade, and MikroTik (preferred).
• Experience with Mitel, Mitel Contact Center, and Shoregear switches (preferred).
