Description:
Our client needs technicians to assist staff with deployment activities for approximately 5,000 devices. In the past, they have purchased all of their machines and have used them until they stop working or are not able to support newer software. They are now in a life cycle process, where they lease their hardware and update desktops ever 4 years and laptops every 3 years. To get all of their hardware up-to-date and begin the life cycle, they will be deploying 5000 devices before going through a Windows 11 update. This will get their entire environment updated.
They need techs to help with the deployment of these PC's that get shipped in pre-imaged and network connected. The techs will need to asset tag the PC, remove the old hardware and cabling, set up the new PC and turn it on to make sure it works correctly. They will also need to troubleshoot any issues that arise with the new PC within the first 48 hours. After that, the issue will be directed to the help desk.
