The Customer Acceptance Tester ensures software meets quality standards by developing and executing testing procedures. This role involves creating test scripts, conducting various tests, and documenting results to validate software functionality. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of software development, quality assurance methodologies, and expertise in Mail.DAT and Mail.XML specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement testing procedures and scripts to ensure software meets functional requirements.
- Conduct customer acceptance testing (CAT), including production validation, error handling, and system workflows.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test plans, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or a related field, with expertise in testing complex applications.
- Proficiency with Mail.DAT, Mail.XML specifications, and scripting languages like SQL, Java, or Python.
- Strong experience with software test management tools, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and testing certifications preferred.
