Cloud Engineer II

Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud Engineer II to join a leading cybersecurity organization. The Cloud Engineer II will design and implement security tooling solutions and engage in developing client cloud and security strategies.

Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer II include:

• Collaborate with engineering team to provide unique engineering solutions
• Serve as cloud SME for clients in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments
• Design and implement security tooling solutions like Tenable, Trend Micro, AquaSec, and others
• Develop client cloud and security strategies, vision-state architectures, and roadmaps
• Design secure enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and cloud architectures using Infrastructure-as-Code
• Engage in security assessment and authorization process and peer review detailed design documentation

Qualifications for the Cloud Engineer II include:

• 2+ years of systems engineering and architecture experience
• 2+ years of cloud architecture, design, implementation, and automation experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration/automation tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform platform capabilities and services
• Experience working in technical teams in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• BS or above in a related Information Technology field or equivalent experience.

Compensation for the Cloud Engineer II includes :

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
